The reason I use 5" or 6" cutting wheels instead of 4-1/2" is they last longer for the same price. When I was going through hundreds of these (not an exaggeration) and buying boxes of 50 at a time, that extra cutting time really adds up. Also, the guard can get in the way occasionally and I've learned to use the tool in a way that minimizes the risk.
But at the end of the day, I'm all grown up and don't need anyone looking after me. I take responsibility for MY actions and expect that the people who choose to watch my videos will do the same. If something happens to me, that's on me and I'll live with it, but I'm not going to alter the way I do things to look "safer".
Take my example of experience to heart - it's a good one. And I'm not saying that someone who's experienced can't make a mistake - they can, but the chances are generally much lower if the have the right kind of experience. Some guys can use a tool incorrectly for 20 years and never learn and have accidents every time they pick it up. They then blame the tool for being dangerous or hard to use.
