How do you deal with designing and planning a new project?
Lots of projects get done using plans, or a picture or an idea. For me, if I start a project with an idea it takes me a while to get things squared away before I start actually making the project.
I tend to overthink a lot of my projects. But for me, that's how I do it. I try and conceive all the different possibilities of what the project could be used for. I think about how it will fit with the existing surroundings and what possible future additions could be made after the project is finished.
For many, my thought process could be considered 'overkill', but for me, this is just what I do. I seem to make out OK doing it this way and so I wanted to try and share my thought process with you for many of the projects I undertake.
Could you please try and summarize how you conceive of a project and plan it and then do it? I would appreciate hearing your stories!!
