My Subscribers are the best!! I had a request from a long time subscriber to have a closer look at my 'Shop Made' drill press table!!
A long time ago I bought a drill press. Ever shop needs a drill press right. But I didn't have the drill press very long before I realized I needed an auxiliary table for it to make it even more useful.
I found an article in a 'Fine Woodworking' magazine that showed how to make this drill press auxiliary table. So I made it and have been using and enjoying it ever since. That was probably 30 or more years ago and I still find this table to be very useful.
A long time subscriber, Jack Collins, asked me if I had plans for making this table. Well Jack I don't have that magazine any more but here is a closer look at the table and some of it's features and measurements so hopefully you can get enough info from the video to sketch up a plan and make an auxiliary table for your drill press too!
