The tarp I put on the old Shelter Frame needs some work. Let's see what we can do!!
The first go round with putting the tarp on the old shelter frame went well. Many hands make light work for sure. But there was a lot of tarp left hanging on the ends and it made for a 'wind trap' the way we had it folded.
I got Nannie involved and between us, we came up with what I think is a better way to fold the ends to minimize the chances of winds getting at the folds and tearing the tarp apart.
So today I'm continuing with the tarp Origami and trying to take the idea we showed on the model to the real world and get the tarp folded and neatened up on the actual shelter frame.
I think I have the tarp the way I want it now, but I only managed to get one end finished. I'm not as quick as I once was I guess. But I'll continue on the other end tomorrow and then we'll give you an update.
In the meantime let me know what your thoughts are on this folding idea and the whole notion of putting a tarp on this old shelter frame. Don't be shy now!!!
