This is part 1 of 2 parts. This was the hardest, and most stressful flight during my private pilot flight training. This is the warm-up flight for my first cross country solo flight (more than 50 nm). Now, after completely my training, I'm looking back on this footage and doing a reaction video for it.
The idea with this flight was that I was doing everything I would do on a longer cross country flight, but it was compressed into a much shorter flight. This really kept me on my toes and was the first time I had sort of put all these different skills together in one flight on my own.
In this video, part 1, I fly from Van Nuys, CA to Camarillo, CA. The flight back to Van Nuys is in part 2!
