Well, I originally wanted to finally put together a video about my thoughts on the MLP G5 Movie's visuals and such... But with the recent premier of the G5 Make Your Mark Special... There are things about it I couldn't get off my mind, and I needed to talk about this first.
This video is going to be VERY critical. Not a mindless bashing, just critical. There are a lot of visual quirks with the special that simply do not look correct.
BUT, an important thing I need to emphasize is that a lot of this is symptomatic of a crew that is working on an extremely tight time budget. I know how the internet can be sometimes and how lots of people there can dog-pile onto the "easy" blame target, but I do not in any way think any particular individual, or group of people even, that worked directly on the special within the Atomic Cartoons is to blame for a lot of these visual problems.
So please, I encourage everyone who watches this to, yes, stay critical, but also to not throw random and easy blame on things you may not have a full picture on.
