Today was a busy and absolutely freezing day with the Snow Dogs! We started the morning with a trip to the vet with Memphis. She needed her Adequan injection and some laser therapy for her joints to keep her feeling her best. However, she was acting a little strange and frustrated while we were there, and we finally figured out the hilarious reason why as soon as we got home! It is absolutely brutal outside right now with temperatures dropping well below zero, so we had to break out the big snowblower to clear the driveway because the battery-operated one just couldn't handle the drifts.
Since it is so cold, we decided to have some indoor fun and even tried the viral boiling water to snow trick outside! Even though it is freezing, the girls are shedding like crazy, so I had a little fun stealing floofs from Kira and Memphis. We also spent some time in the kitchen making delicious maple cookies for our cooking channel and enjoying some hamburger salads for dinner. Kira wasn't a fan of the kitchen noises and the deep fryer fan, so she spent some time hiding, but she eventually came out to join the pack.
We also have some updates on the Christmas card exchange and upcoming travel plans to the Virginia Pet Expo and more! Plus, we show off a new Valentine's Day dragon for the Etsy shop. Memphis is rocking her compression brace to help her leg, and the pack is staying warm inside. Thanks for hanging out with us for another day in the life of our Siberian Huskies!
