Welcome back to day two of our epic road trip to Virginia for the Super Pet Expo! We started the morning early at the hotel, fueling up Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor before hitting the road to beat the rain. Traveling with Siberian Huskies always keeps things interesting, especially when dealing with unexpected humidity and long drives through the mountains. We navigated through the Allegheny Mountain tunnel and managed to avoid the icy weather back home, focusing on making the best memories with our girls.
Once we arrived at our favorite familiar Airbnb, it was all about getting the dogs settled and comfortable. With temperatures hitting 85 degrees, we had to get the AC cranking and lay out rugs to help Memphis navigate the floors. Between Jamie working his magic on the hot tub and the girls claiming their favorite spots on the couch, the house quickly felt like a home away from home. The highlight of the evening was a surprise arrival that some of the pack didn't see coming!
We ended the night prepping for a very busy morning—I’m going to be on TV! It’s been a long day of driving, exploring roadside parks, and doggie snuggles, but we are so excited to be back in Virginia. Life is short, make memories with your dogs!
HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR DAY

🛋️ Kira officially claiming the living room couch as her own.
❄️ Cooling down the house for the girls as the temperature hit 85 degrees.
✈️ Dan finally arriving after his flight to join the pack.
😴 Memphis being so sound asleep she didn't realize Dan was home.
🛌 Setting up a special low-profile bed area for Memphis’s comfort.
📺 Getting ready for our big TV appearance tomorrow morning!
