It is a beautiful, sunny morning here, and we are officially on day two of the great snow melt! While the temperatures are still a bit chilly, the sun is doing its job and turning our backyard into a series of mini lakes and rivers. Memphis is doing so much better today; her eye medicine is working wonders on that lump, and we are keeping a close eye on her swollen hawk with some red light therapy and her compression brace. It’s a busy time as we prep for our upcoming trip to Virginia!
We have some very exciting news to share about the Super Pet Expo! We will be at the Manassas Mall on March 13th, 14th, and 15th. It’s actually going to be a extra special weekend because March 13th is Kira’s 7th birthday! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you, so if you're in the area, come by and say happy birthday to our sweet girl. I even got her a special birthday bow to wear for the occasion!
The girls definitely made the most of the wet weather today. Eleanor decided she was a professional excavator, helping Jamie dig "drainage rivers" in the snow, while Memphis decided that jumping into every single muddy puddle was the best way to spend a walk. By the time we got home, we had some very dirty Siberian Huskies on our hands! Luckily, husky fur is amazing, and the dirt brushes right off once they dry. Life is short, make memories (and a little bit of a mess) with your dogs!
