Good, wonderful, beautiful morning! Today on Snow Dogs Vlogs, we are racing against the clock and the weather. Jamie is out with the electric snow thrower clearing a path because the forecast says it is going to get brutally cold with high winds and single-digit temperatures over the next two weeks. Before the weather turns into a total "snownado," we decided it was the perfect time to get the girls out for some exercise. We hooked up the sled for a quick urban mushing adventure to let them burn off some energy!
While the younger girls got to run, Memphis enjoyed a delicious Woofsicle and later went on a gentle walk with us. We even had to break out the paw balm and her ankle support brace to keep our senior girl comfortable in this frigid air. You won't believe how fast the weather changed from our run to just ten minutes later; the wind gusts were crazy! We also spotted the fiber internet truck (fingers crossed!), and Jamie distracted Kira with a hilarious game of chasing a watch reflection.
We also talk a bit about dog safety and treats in this video. Since Whimsies have changed, we are back to using Bully Sticks with our favorite safety holders from EverChew to ensure the dogs can enjoy them without choking hazards. It was a busy, treat-filled day for Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor as we hunkered down for the coming freeze. Grab a snack and join us for a fun winter day!
