Every Sega Card game that I've reviewed so far has been an...interesting experience, especially through 2024 eyes, where even a single config file in a game today might be larger than one of these entire games. But just because these Sega Card games are nice technical achievements...that doesn't necessarily make them good games.
My Hero does an admirable job of taking full advantage of it's 32 Kilobytes of ROM...but is it enough to make a good game? And how does it compare to the original arcade game? Let's take a look!
