Sometimes, when something is created, it's just the right thing at the right time, and it's special, and no matter how many times they go back to that well and try to improve upon it, or make a new version of that game, it just doesn't quite work. That seems to be the case with Super Space Invaders, which was Taito's fourth attempt at revisiting Space Invaders, and while the arcade machine did do some good things, it was still a game that was too closely attached to it's past.
Unfortunately, the Master System port is a fairly accurate version of a flawed game, and well...you can probably see where this is going, because while some things were done right, there's also plenty that was done wrong separate from the sins of it's father, so to speak. Want to see where Domark went wrong, other than licensing the game in the first place? Take a look!
