A recording of a Facebook live kept at my blog's FB page on June 10th. The topic was to make a sweet floral and butterfly card using watercolor pencils.
During the live I made a quick card using watercolor pencils, a butterfly stamp and some patterned papers. I had prepared the background pieces before the live as I chose to sew two layers together. I then added some inky touches to both the background and some flowers I had cut loose from a patterned paper. I also added a bit of dimensional pattern to the background using a stencil and modeling paste. I then used watercolor pencils and a crayon to color the blooms and then used the same pencils to stamp a butterfly. I layered everything together on top of a strip of vellum and added some lace, stamen and stickers to finish the card.
