A process video showing me create a couple of cards for Nathalie's Creative Squad. The theme of the Squad posts on May is "A Tale of Two Colors".
I start by coloring a white cardstock sheet using permanent color dyes. I pattern the piece using foam stamps and acrylic paint. I use a gel plate to help to spread the paint to the stamp. I also pattern a piece of white cotton and make some buttons out of shrink plastic. After I have the elements done I put the cards together. I end up using cut out embellishments out of sheets I used to clean the gel plate in the cards as well. I finish the cards with a sentiment cut from an old book.
