I recently picked up a new hobby, I have been looking for a way to spend time outdoors even on the days I can't manage to get out west. I had always loved watching fishing and hunting shows when I was younger, I guess there was something almost primal about watching people live the way our ancestors did even today that captivated me. Recently I picked up a new rod and started casting and no pun intended I got hooked. So despite the bitter-sweet moment of having to leave my beautiful hometown province yet again this year and move to a different province for a few weeks of work, all while attempting to start and manage companies of my own and prepare for a plant shutdown this July... I know it's a lung full but despite all that I'm making the most of it by fishing along the way with one goal, to catch my first pike ever... And let's just say Saskatchewan did not disappoint... My first targeted species catch #blindmanoverland
