It's been 5 days since we left, and over 1500 kilometres down on this #overlanding trip, we woke up to clouds of small black and flies that would bite the crap out of us, my feet were spotted like mad from wearing flipflops the following evening! But we had to make the northwest crossing from Fortmac to High Level, on our way we discovered a beautiful spot off the beaten path to call home for the night, called #islandlake Alberta. A little piece of paradise that was secluded and peaceful, one of our best little places we stayed for sure. So excited as we begin the 2nd portion of our trip and reach for the 3rd corner!
