Join me on this exciting episode of Blindman Outdoors as we ditch work early and set out to find early ice for the 2023/2024 hard water season. Follow along as we approach Chain Lakes in Central Alberta Canada, all because the tug is the drug! Although the action wasn't fast or heavy we set into some baby pike and finally started an early ice season without getting skunked! However next time we know what to target for those big bites!
But The real adventure unfolds as we climb an icy backcountry road in our 2WD Ford Econoline. Will she conquer the frozen terrain, or will we encounter slippery surprises along the way and have to be rescued for the 2nd time on this channel!
