I decided to just try to make some drift tires from 95A TPU. It took all of 5 minutes to design the tires and 2 hours per tire to print.
My first time drifting an RC car (with the intention of actually drifting) so bear with me. The tires seem to work well here. They have some grip when I drive slowly and even let me brake if I need to, but are super controllable under wheelspin... I have never tried any purchased drift tires so I can't compare to how they feel.
This is the 3D printed chassis I'm using. I didn't change the setup other than tires for this run:
