I came up with this new way to print RC tires a few weeks ago but haven't made a video of the car driving until now. The tires are printed without any infill so only the outer wall is printed, and after printing it's popped into the normal sidewall shape as it's mounted on the rim. Works well. I used Colorfabb Varishore TPU which is foaming and can be printed with different hardness depending on the degree of foaming. It uses less material, is lighter and prints easier than regular TPU. Texture is similar to hard foam.
