Science Out There Adventures: How I Spent My Chasecation Part 3! A persistent trough and east coast high pressure system dominated during the peak of 2019's Tornado Season. Storms were plentiful, and so were Tornadoes. But that doesn't guarantee success for everyone. Smoke? Bad visibility? Difficult forecasting Scenarios? Flooding concerns? over-active high-precip storms? In my case, all led to a poor storm chasing experience, but that doesn't mean I can't have a little fun for myself.

The Imperial storm was gorgeous! It took a few attempts but after visiting a tornado near Denver, a failed storm in Brush and other areas, A tiny rain shower in Akora, Colorado would lead to an amazing storm that would produce several weak tornadoes, and finally some amazing structure in far west Nebraska near Imperial. Later i would have a major storm chase fail on the Waldo and Tipton, Kansas storms. :(
