We spent the winter in our seasonal cabin heated only by wood. It was very romantic, but something had to be done after one winter. We were told it wouldn't work, but we wanted to know what it would take to heat the cabin with an air-source heat pump.
This is our journey from hiring an energy auditor to installing an air-source heat pump in a climate where in our first winter temperatures plunged to -41.
