Jobless Reincarnation (Mushoku Tensei) Season 3 has officially had its release month confirmed, and it’s no longer airing in April as many fans originally expected. After months of speculation and leaks, the anime is now scheduled to premiere in July. This delay comes as a surprise given earlier assumptions that it would air alongside major isekai releases like Re:Zero Season 3 and Tensura Season 4, both of which are also adapting some of their strongest arcs.
Season 3 of Mushoku Tensei is set to adapt Turning Point 4, widely considered one of the most important and impactful arcs in the entire series. While there will still be some seasonal overlap with other isekai anime, it will be far less than originally anticipated, particularly with Re:Zero. Tensura, meanwhile, is expected to run significantly longer than both series.
The new season is expected to have around 24 episodes, as it has been confirmed to be a two-cour season with consecutive cours. This format avoids long breaks between parts and allows the story’s momentum and emotional weight to remain intact, which is especially important for an arc as pivotal as Turning Point 4.
