「 MUM M8 DSP ACID 」🧪 Saturated acid bass using the MUM M8 DSP with Cutoff modulation from an envelope.
Starting from a basic 1 oscillator voice made with Ableton’s ‘Wavetable’, the MUM M8 DSP is placed next in the chain, replacing the filter of the synth. A MIDI envelope is then assigned to control the Cut off, triggered from the notes in the sequence. Though it is perfect for slow sweeps, the MUM M8 DSP’s liquidy resonance, input saturation and bit depth reduction make it great for busy acid bass lines.
The MUM M8 DSP is an enhanced plugin version of our popular Eurorack MUM M8 filter based on the ‘switched capacitor’ design used in the classic Akai S950 sampler. 💾
