Pam PRO Rotate 」Engaging the output Rotate function on Pamela’s PRO Workout to shift 4 different modulation sources between outputs 1-4 patched to modulate Akemie’s Castle.
Pam is started, clocking the ASQ-1 patched to sequence the Castle. Outputs 1-4 of Pam are set up to produce various modulation signals, pre-patched to the Castle’s operator Level and Multiply CV inputs. From Pam’s BPM menu, the ‘Run’ input is remapped to ‘Rotate’ and the output range is set, starting at 1 and ending at 4. The first Trigger track of the ASQ-1 is then patched to Pam’s Run input and trigger steps are entered into the sequence. As soon as a trigger fires, the first 4 outputs of Pam shift over by 1, continuing to do so as triggers are received. The currently rotating outputs are visible on screen in real time but their editing is locked unless the clock is stopped. Rotation is a simple but interesting feature of the Pam PRO that can lead to unpredictable and inspiring patches!
