As a writer, you have a certain amount of love for every character that you dream up. As an illustrator you struggle with every stroke to give that character life and inspire others to love said character just as much!
This is Ms Millennium. She found her humble beginnings during 2012 when my xbox 360 friends and I had migrated to PC in order to play "Champions Online." If you've ever played or heard of Champions Online, its like World of Warcraft but with super heroes. You're only limited by your imagination when it comes to customization. Champions Online has an ABSURD amount of customization. So much so, that you may spend the first 3 hours of your gameplay "willingly" designing your perfect hero. So you could imagine that throughout my epic encounters there, I'd run into a few colorful allies who were quite simply awe inspiring.
Well there was one such female character that I noticed. I cannot recall exactly what her name was or who she was played by. All I know is she was everything I wanted a female anti-hero to be in my Exitium Saga. She had flight, super strength, energy manipulation, regeneration, she was a writer's inspirational gold mine!
So I sat down and drew my first ever rendition of this character I was inspired by. My version sported a much more elegant name & had similar color concepts spanning through her skin, dark hair, and attire. This character sat tragically for years without an origin story or a reason as to why I drew her other than I was inspired.
Finally sometime in 2014, that same group of friends and I began working on an indie developed side scrolling co-op game. This game never saw the light of day but at least it has some playable demos & a really nifty plot anyone else can pick up at a later date. From this story-arch, Ms Millennium FINALLY had her foot hold in solid Exitium territory. She was integrated almost perfectly in with the rest of the continuity, and the rest..... Well......... The rest is just history...
