I have good news, & I have bad news.
I'm procrastinating my original series "that's the bad news."
But the good news is I have another concept to drag into the spotlight. This character is possibly the oldest villain in Exitium history. Some time within 2005 is when the original concept for this character was conceived. He was sketched at a later date, wrote into the trilogy & never heard from until today...
The trilogy and the concept itself were severely dated, so a decision was made to retcon this character. Taking "obvious" heavy inspiration from the Lovecraftian Mythos, this version of Hastur is like a metaphor for his Lovecraft counter part. Rather than being shapeless and operating through avatars, Hastur has his army of "Hatebreed" do his biding. His sign doesn't mesmerize anyone into following his orders, but the container sporting said symbol often contains a nano cell which cures the sick (at a heavy price.) In exchange for immunity from various sicknesses and diseases, the victim must obey Hastur otherwise the cure doubles as an implanted bomb. Lovecrafts mythos also describes Hastur's kingdom as just as horrifying as he is, and in the case of Exitium the same holds true. Hastur is essentially just a normal human being heavily augmented from the future. Because of his sophisticated technology in a medieval era, he is like a god. So he struggles to raise his entire kingdom into the sky (quite literally.)
Hastur has lost his mind due to the augmentation he's undergone in his timeline. As unstable as he is, he's still an excellent strategist, thus he's constructed a full proof plan to escape his timeline and alter the timeline creating a legacy for himself.
