This uses an Audi A4 arm rest lid which fits the profile of the MR2 centre console very well. you can buy yours here:

Then choose your fixing of choice, I used hook and loop that was sticky backed. I may change this to 3M tape.

PLEASE NOTE: the gap between the back of the rest and the door to the cubby I used was approx 10mm... not 100mm as stated in the vid. ..slip of the keyboard there folks!
