The lower steering joint is a common problem on the MR2 Roadster / Spyder and its a good idea to check it.

I had a check on mine and shot a bit of footage to thought I'd put a quick tip together to explain a bit. If your steering is stiffening up or the joint is really corroded its probably best to replace it...it connects you to the steering...you loose that and you're in a world of hurt!
