The Moto Guzzi GT is an underbarrel motorcycle built in the late 1920s by the Mandello del Lario motorcycle manufacturer. Also called "the company bike", the Moto Guzzi GT was the protagonist of the famous raid carried out in 1928 by Giuseppe Guzzi, who left Mandello and arrived at the Arctic Circle in 28 days, consuming 182 liters of petrol and three tyres; in honor of the successful North Cape raid, the model acquired the name Norge in memory of the famous airship of the same name that had explored the Arctic region. The GT was also the first motorcycle to be equipped with an elastic frame which offers more comfort to the rider, without compromising stability. The engine was a 498.4 cm³ single-cylinder 4-stroke carburettor powered and the gearbox was three-speed. The model and his feat were also remembered in the 2006 reenactment carried out on board the new Norge 1200.
