Worried about mosquito repellent? Here’s the simple truth.

EPA‑registered repellents are tested, safe, and proven to work when you use them as the label says.

Look for these ingredients on the bottle:

- DEET (20–30% is plenty!)

- Picaridin

- IR3535

- Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus (OLE)

- Para‑menthane‑diol (PMD)

They’re all safe for adults, pregnant people, and kids when used correctly. Just follow the instructions on the label. OLE and PMD are for ages 3+ only.

Higher percentages = longer protection. But more than 50% DEET doesn’t give extra coverage.

So, before you go outside, grab an EPA‑registered repellent and feel confident you’re choosing something safe and effective for your family.
