Add wet/damp dusting to your spring-cleaning checklist!
Dust – and the chemicals it carries – can get on our hands, then end up in our bodies without us knowing.
From flame retardants in old couches to BPA, a chemical found in hard plastics – harmful chemicals can collect in dust and settle on surfaces we touch.
Reduce how much dust gets in your body by:
- Wiping surfaces using a damp cloth.
- Cleaning floors with a wet mop or HEPA vacuum.
- Washing your hands often, especially before eating or handling food.
