Almost two years ago now we found this large flat stone in a creek in our woodlot. With no small difficulty we finagled it out of the creek and back to the garden. It was obviously a perfect stone for turning into a rustic mortared stone bench for our herb and flower growing area near the house. Unfortunately we did not get good footage of building the piers or setting the stone into its final position. Hopefully the video we did get will interest some folks in trying DIY stonemasonry.
