I ordered up 30 fiberglass mortar tubes and built them into a single calliope style launcher. Each of the tubes is then loaded with commercial 'mortar' type fireworks and all the fuses are taped together for sequential launching. When chaining fuses, be sure to tape at least 1-1.5" in parallel to be sure that they ignite.
As the saying goes: "light fuse and get away". (All the shells loaded were either double or triple break.) Video is from my digital camera which isn't ideal for the purpose, but you get the idea.
