Mortal Kombat Trilogy HD is back with another major update as we react to a brand new gameplay showcase featuring our first look at MK3 Sub-Zero fully playable along with more footage of Kung Lao following his recent reveal! In this video we break down everything shown including Sub-Zero’s moveset, combos, special attacks, early gameplay mechanics, and overall progress on this ambitious fan project being developed by Interloko. If you didn’t know, Mortal Kombat Trilogy HD is a completely free-to-play remake in development for PC, Android, Linux, and Mac with online play supported through rollback netcode, and based on the latest update it’s clear the gameplay is coming together smoothly even in this early build. We also talk about visual improvements, character animations, hitbox consistency, and what still needs to be polished before release. With the possibility of a playable build arriving later this year, this update is a huge step forward for the project.
