Mortal Kombat 2 Movie (2026) just got an INSANE new wave of official concept art reveals as artist Andres Rios shares over 30 early character designs for Baraka, Shao Kahn, Quan Chi, and Scorpion that show just how different the final movie could have looked! In this video we react to and break down every major concept piece including alternate Baraka designs featuring cloaks, armor variations, terrifying mouth structures, and even more Deception-inspired looks that almost made it into the final film. We also take a closer look at multiple unused Shao Kahn helmet concepts including one design that looks MUCH closer to the classic MK games, plus early Quan Chi outfits that reveal how NetherRealm’s sorcerer evolved throughout production before the final version seen in Mortal Kombat 2.
