Mileena's moveset. She's not evil in Mortal Kombat 1 (yet?) and I'm curious what will happen next. She's exactly what you expect and what you got in the previous MKs. Her special moves and combos often end in throws. Mileena can throw her Sais (B, F Square), she can roll (B, D Circle). Her enhanced Sai ends in a throw on hit. Well... what else can I say? It's Mileena, and she's as violent as always.

Takeda is back. I mained him in Mortal Kombat X. However, he plays and looks completely different. I had so much trouble using Triangle + Circle attacks, that I shouted insults at the screen... I never had that much trouble with two-button-inputs, is it me or is it the game?
His moveset is quite complex, and he can do most Special Moves in mid-air and on the ground. He has several attacks which seem very good against projectile spammers, like teleportation or full-screen jumps.
D, F Square (also possible in mid-air) shoots an instantly exploding projectile to the ground, and the direction can be altered by pressing directions. D, B Square is the same, except the projectile doesnt explode until its hit with an exploding projectile. You can force the opponent into arial combat with those traps. Swift Stride (B, F X) and Tornado Kick (D, B Circle) only hits at the end of the animation. Means e.g. if the high range version is done against a close opponent, you can easily be punished. Rushing Nimbus (the Spiderman web swing) can be cancelled into a jump. Whip Art is a combo, where you cancel D, F Circle attacks into one another up to 2 times. The first attack and the last attack can be enhanced. Takeda also has a unique Fatal Blow that does nothing, which can be cancelled. Takeda throws shurikens when you press the attack buttons, and the final hit, if not blocked or dodged, triggers the Fatal Blow animation. However, I noticed that when you wait for some time and then throw a single projectile, it also triggers the Fatal Blow.

Elphelt Valentines design sure changed since Xrd. Her design looks like her Revelator costume combined with her Star Ocean cameo design. As far as I remember, her original gameplay was more like Happy Chaos, so they changed it. Now she has a combo chain similar to Noel Vermillion from BlazBlue (which is infinite as long as you mash Triangle. Interesting.). Shes a projectile spammer, you know, the most fun kind of character in a fighting game... when she misses, the projectile bounces back into the direction of the opponent, but there is a short delay to react. The explosion of her grab Super cant hit her unlike Faust.

Reikos moveset. Hes a grappler character, but unlike grapplers in most fighting games, hes surprisingly quick. Using several variations of his red glowing attacks (like his basic Circle kick) and Throwing Stars (B, F Triangle) keep the opponents away if necessary. He can rush in with Charging Pain (B, F hold X). His throws are Pale Rider (F, D, B Square) (normal) and Tactical Takedown (D, F X) (low). He can kounter with Retaliation (D, B Square) but with a rather tight timing. Uniquely, Reiko has a high hitting Xray by holding up while using Xray, grabbing mid-air opponents.

Doesnt include non-tournament legal Abilities hidden in Lootboxes since... they are hidden in Lootboxes! Feed me Seymour!! Poison Ivy is basically an easier to play Swamp Thing, e.g. she also uses damage-over-time ground traps. She also has those two plants on her shoulders which look weird (hilariously named Chompy and Bitey). Her kiss poisons opponents for a short time, her shield... well... is a shield. Otherwise, not much special to report.

1080p 60fps No HUD modded. Oh hey, I finally used the actual game music. Kyojuro is the super powerful role model for the protagonist shonen stereotype so you can guess what happens. Hes the fire Hashira (which is the demon slayer elite, basically). There are so many cool Hashiras, but you cant play most of them, thats kinda disappointing. Hopefully there will be a sequel.
Everything Kyojuro does is helping Tanjiro on the Mugen Train and then fight Akaza. Theres probably more depth to him in the anime.
