Elphelt Valentine's design sure changed since Xrd. Her design looks like her Revelator costume combined with her Star Ocean cameo design. As far as I remember, her original gameplay was more like Happy Chaos, so they changed it. Now she has a combo chain similar to Noel Vermillion from BlazBlue (which is infinite as long as you mash Triangle. Interesting.). She's a projectile spammer, you know, the most fun kind of character in a fighting game... when she misses, the projectile bounces back into the direction of the opponent, but there is a short delay to react. The explosion of her grab Super can't hit her unlike Faust.
