Following a major renovation and expansion that opened in 2012, the Morian Hall of Paleontology at the Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) became one of North America's largest and most comprehensive exhibitions of prehistoric life, spanning over 30,000 square feet. The Morian Hall is famous for its dynamic poses, showcasing over 60 colossal skeletons—including multiple Tyrannosaurus rex and a complete Triceratops—all locked in action-packed scenes that bring the ecosystems of the ancient world to life. What’s unique is that this exhibit takes you on a chronological journey backward through time, starting with the Ice Age mammals and ending at the very dawn of complex life.
