2. The beginning of the speech held by Marshal Kim Il-sung on July 28, 1953 where he announces the armistice agreement. The speech was held right south of the Moranbong park in Pyongyang. Nowadays there is a mosaic at the spot depicting him holding this speech. In 1982 the large arch of triumph was built close to where the listeners stood during the actual speech.
