With all the rain that we've been getting in the Midwest, it's been hard to find a trail that isn't flooded. Eager to earn some miles toward the #Hike365Challenge, we visited a trail that Will and I hiked last year. One that I swore I would not return to for a very long time. Why? Spiders! But desperate times call for desperate measures so we travel onto historic Fort Riley, KS to hike the Moon Lake Trail. Unfortunately, this trail is very rarely used so it is overgrown and a haven for spiders and ticks! Nonetheless, we didn't let the critters ruin our time and we even found a hidden waterfall!
