I love how something so simple like a wash of noise or a single tone can transform into a rich, layered atmosphere of little sonic collisions and inner motion with a little bit of filtering and granular processing... here I was mostly just playing with moving in and out of tone / noise, and depending on how I would morph between the two, the pedal would respond in different ways — sometimes latching onto tones and re-pitching them, other times capturing bursts of noise...

The game, then, becomes: how many different ways can I move between these worlds? how many trajectories + micro-moments can this simple transition actually hold within it?

(psst: It’s a lot. I still haven’t found them all). 😊❤️

@moogsynthesizers Mother-32 and @tomkatpedals Cloudy. ⛅Do you always start from the same place? You can be wildly talented, with years of training, and still not feel like a “real” musician.🎉 DOORS TO LEARNING SOUND AND SYNTHESIS ARE NOW OPEN! 🎉Using @weareelektron’s TonverkOne of my mentoring clients recently said, “I have a monthly pass to the procrastination train.”Where do you start?Making weird sounds with @gastonsoundss prototype for a noisy delay / pitch shifter / sampler. It’s called Your First Modular Synth Patch...The doors are closing in just a few hours.I’ve been getting a lot of Q’s lately about how to choose modules for a modular synth...This is such a great question 👇
