👋 I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about how to get started with modular synthesis, electronic music, and sound design - so I wanted to let you all know that I put together a free mini course on this topic to help you get started! It’s called Your First Modular Synth Patch, and it will guide you step-by-step into the fundamentals of modular synthesis, what it is / how it works, and how to design your first few sounds completely from scratch.
When I was first getting started in electronic music, I often felt way too intimidated to ask for help for fear that my questions would be annoying or sound stupid.
In retrospect, I now realize that it’s *completely* normal to feel confused and intimidated when you’re starting something new — especially something technical and complex like synthesis!! So, I wanted to create this class as a way of helping folks take their first steps into working with synths, and to create a supportive environment for questions to be asked, no matter how small.
