Monty Mole for C64, Loaded from tape
So fairly ordinary early 80s loader, but I had an interesting time with this game - my first play, I was like "how in the everloving hell did I play this as a kid and get anywhere?" but, by game #3 I'd gotten somewhat used to the quirky physics and got a fair way in - all of my play attempts are in this video, but one of the key things I learned between games that I had forgotten, is there is actually diagonal jump buttons on the keyboard keys A and S, which make things MUCH more paletable. Once you know this, getting the jumps becomes MUCH easier, and things become MUCH more fun.
Yeah, the game is still really fun. I might yet come back to this and try and properly beat it at some point.
