I was playing this quest at midnight of the night that I was recording and someone still joined, so shout outs to that player for the assist. Also, my best friend was sending me Link party invitations - I didn't know he was still up, but I couldn't accept because I was in the middle of a fight.
My character is named and modeled after Susannah Dean from "The Dark Tower." I've played as this character for years, but I usually just name her matrixandraia or matrixan or Andraia. She's always been Susannah though.
The Mizutsune - hoooo boy. I was fighting an 8 Star hunt this morning as a practice battle and I got flattened by its tail and saw how much damage it did then - this was a 9 Star 5 star strength hunt so I was trying to be super careful. I still got flattened once, but I didn't faint, so it was fine. You can see how careful I was being before that other player joined and diverted the monster's attention, and afterward I kinda cut loose and started attacking more.
The Mizutsune is a water monster that's weak against Ice and Thunder and I was using my Thunder Skyscraper because it had more Affinity and higher damage values. I was wearing my Nu Udra armor because this thing can spit bubbles that deal Fire Blight or even heal you. I hate being set on fire in this game, so I went with something that would protect me. I got Water Blighted once by its water beam but I didn't care.
My original intent was to trap this thing when it got weak, but again, because the other player was with me, I just went crazy and we took it down.
Also - that Doshaguma needed to go away! It was like a horror movie for me when I heard the different music play and I swung the camera around and saw this other giant monster heading towards me, hehe.
Look at my meal buff timer! That was a close one - I should have eaten a meal before starting this hunt and I got totally lucky that it ended before my buff did.
