Ever taken a selfie with Mona? You're not alone.
This short film shows just a fraction of the photos taken with the Mona Lisa each year. It took three months for the filmmaker to compile people's Instagram posts into a cohesive short film. Mona Lisa sees 6 million visitors each year.
But Mona isn't the only attraction tourists are gramming. The Eiffel Tower is the world's most Instagrammed attraction, showing up in over 4 million posts. Others include Big Ben at 2.4 million, the Empire State Building at 1.5 million, and the Notre Dame Cathedral at 1.3 million.
No wonder Mona Lisa looks so bemused — she's wondering why she's not on the most Instagrammed list!
