A dog with a taste for the finer things has become an unlikely art critic.

Professional artist Julia Powell noticed her six-year-old Golden Retriever, Ella, often stared at her paintings. Powell believed that her dog might have a hidden skill set.

She tested her theory, and found that Ella paid extra attention to shades of blue and green as well as water.
