Hi butterflies!!!
This was a little gift for my mom for her birthday (was on the 20th). I didn't really have time to make anything at the time, but wanted to do something so I decided to make her a character. I tried to make her design feel like her. I also put her and Butterfly side by side for height reference--I am taller than her :3--and to make it easier to have the two look related. Since this is my mom it would be Butterfly's mom as well, so I decided it made sense she got her main coloring (white) and markings from her. I made the markings on my mom's wolf unique, but kept them in the same spot as Butterfly so it can be seen where Butterfly got her markings from. Also little note Butterfly got her other main coloring (dark blueish black) from her dad. I made my mom's design very round and poofy because it fits her personality well. I really tried to show personality in each of the poses. Also she named her wolf Hell's Bells. It was just a quick little sketchy ref sheet to give her, but I like how it came out. I'd like to make a proper ref sheet eventually and I'll probably tweak the design a bit then.
Mmmmm it really bugs me tho that I accidentally drew Butterfly's leg spirals backwards●.●
