Hi butterflies!!!
MONTAGES AREN'T DEAD!!! lol
This description is gonna be a bit long, cuz I got some updates and what not.
So as you may have noticed I've mostly been posting art and animation videos, last montage was 2 months ago O.O. This is because I'm going to be focusing more on my art and animation projects. I do still love making montages and I plan to keep making them, but they are going to be few and far between. I think my goal is to have at least one montage up a month. This one took super long because there's a LOT of editing in it and I got a new laptop. This meant when I transferred my editing program it would only transfer Filmora 9 and not 8 which is what all my other montages are edited in. This would've been no problem except Filmora 9 doesn't add frames when doing slow motion, so it looks like it is playing frame by frame. I didn't have the time then to figure out a way around this, but now I did so I was able to finish the montage. I did all the editing in Filmora 9 then took the base video of the montage and put it in HitFilm Express to add motion blur. This worked for the most part to smooth the slow motion clips. The more I experiment with it, hopefully the better the slow motion will get. Future montages should hopefully be finished faster because I now know how to correct the slow motion parts of the video.
Anyways, I'm super happy with how this montage came out. I really tried to experiment and push myself with the text. And ooo I think it paid off, it looks really cool. Filmora 9 also has some cool new blur effects and overlays, so I played around with those in this as well. The slow motion isn't exactly how I want it in some places, but I think it is kinda better than how my old slow motion looked. It's a bit smoother. That's about all I can think of, hope you enjoy^^
Also on a totally unrelated note, I'd like to say I'm pretty proud I've been able to post two videos a week for the past three weeks and at least one a week for about 2 months now^^ Ahh reminds me of when I first started this channel 2 years ago and was able to post at least one montage a week. Can't believe it's been that long!!! After this week it'll be back to one a week. I'll see you fellow art loving Mercys on Friday!!!^^
