Modular Tapes Volume 1 is a collection of electronic music compositions, all performed live using hardware synthesizers, drum machines, and Eurorack modular systems.
Released in summer 2025, this album marks my first full release in quite a while — and it’s the project that’s pushed me to start releasing more music again.
I haven’t put this album on streaming services yet, as I like the way Bandcamp operates, but I wanted to make the music available here on YouTube for anyone who doesn’t use Bandcamp or just wants to listen in one place.
The tracks were composed and performed using a mixture of:
Eurorack modular synthesizers
Hardware drum machines
Teenage Engineering OP-1
A wide range of effects, modulation, and live processing
Light post-processing to preserve the live feel
If you’re into modular synth music, hardware-only electronic performances, or long-form ambient / experimental / rhythmic electronic albums, this one’s for you.
