Lumpy’s part was driving me insane but other than that this is pretty fun, takes a while to memorize all the click patterns though. It’s also pretty skill based. Overall a fun level :)

Getting there :) The first ship and the ball are getting somewhat consistent. Still by far the hardest parts. Let’s hope I don’t die at the last part too much, but considering how hard it is with nerves, I doubt that...

Although this run took a while, I was getting to the last part very consistently before doing it so that’s pretty nice. However, this is probably the easiest part of the level. This level is extremely hard, WAY harder than Betrayal of Fate (this is #7 while BoF is #19). I think beating this is very unrealistic, but I’ll keep playing because of the song. I think I can get a few more runs.

The first time I beat this about 13 months ago, my experience with it was horrible. It took me ages to beat and I had never been this angry at a level. Today, I saw that it was rated insane demon (which I think is deserved) so I thought I would try to rebeat it and upload it since I lost my original recording. It was a lot more enjoyable this time, probably because I’ve improved since the first time I beat this, so a lot of the parts I kept dying at originally felt really easy this time. As a result, it didn’t take me very long and it was pretty fun, despite my awful luck (92, 93 x3, 94 x3, 98 x3). I still hate the timing at 60%, that unfortunately didn’t change and it annoyed me quite a lot.

Alright, I’ll stop uploading levels called Uprise :(
While the decoration of this level is pretty average, the gameplay is phenomenal. I don’t think I’ve ever played a level this satisfying and well synced (there’s a bit of audio delay in this video, play the level for yourself to see what I mean). I enjoyed absolutely every second of it. This is even more impressive considering only one gamemode is used throughout the whole level. It seems a bit easy for an insane demon though, but I guess it’s fine. I definitely recommend this level! I also fluked it from 57, which is very surprising since I almost never fluke levels.

This is definitely my hardest demon in my opinion, since it doesn’t fit my skillset like Artificial Ascent does. Surprisingly, this was an insanely fun experience. Visually, this is by far my favorite Sonic Wave remake, I think this level looks incredible. Unfortunately, I had to use the LDM to avoid lag.
The first 30% was incredibly inconsistent for quite some time but it got significantly better after a while, the only part that wasn’t always consistent was the infamous ball part (although it’s still noticeably easier than the one in Sonic Wave).
The first wave can get really consistent but that takes a while and many places remain very challenging even after thousands of attempts:
- the transition at 29%,
- the timing at 32%,
- 43-46%,
- 49%, although it is much harder in Sonic Wave.
The 56% cube is a nice little break, I still managed to die there twice in total.
The second wave is incredibly fun and surprisingly consistent most of the time. It takes a lot of practice to get used to the click patterns, especially 71-76% which is one of the hardest parts in the level. I probably died to this part 30 times if not more.
The last cube is supposed to be another break but it’s actually quite easy to mess up from 0, I somehow died there 5 times which is pretty stupid.
The last wave is incredibly difficult, it definitely has the hardest timings although it’s still the easiest wave part because it’s so short. 88, 89, 90, 92 and especially 93 are all incredibly easy to die to. I died there 5 times in total.
Overall, I had a lot of fun playing this level; I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get better at wave. I’ll start playing Sonic Wave again now that I’m done with Auditory Breaker.

Visually, I think this is still the best level in the 1.0 trend; same thing in terms of atmosphere. I think this represents the song very well. Some parts are definitely less interesting than others, but everything about this level is still really unique and well executed. There isn’t much to say about the decoration since it’s all layout blocks.
In terms of gameplay, this level is probably the weirdest insane demon I’ve played. Some parts, especially the ball and ufo parts near the beginning made absolutely no sense to me but somehow I still got extremely consistent so...whatever. Pretty much everything else before 35% feels kind of weird to play but it’s still somewhat fun. After that, the level is literally easy demon difficulty at most so there isn’t much to say. Overall pretty fun but strange to say the least, and definitely not an insane demon.

I did it. My new hardest demon. This level is absolutely fantastic, I still love it even after spending so much time on it. Heres a quick review of the gameplay.
Before Michiguns part, everything gets incredibly consistent, including Zobros. Sometimes, I managed to get to Michigun almost every single attempt for a while. I wasnt always this consistent though, those first parts require a lot of focus that I didnt always have. Hinds is actually pretty challenging at first, especially the wave, although that also gets consistent. Lets move on to the hardest part: Michigun.
This part wouldnt actually be that hard if it wasnt for the 4 blue orbs. Its incredibly easy to mess up the click pattern and even if you do it right youll probably die if you didnt hit the first orb late enough. You also have one triple spike at the end of the part thats actually pretty hard and killed me a decent amount. This part can go from a very consistent part to a literal wall. Sometimes, I would never get past it despite getting there very frequently. However, when you manage to pull it off, this part is incredibly satisfying.
After that we have anthrax, a pretty awkward part that isnt too big of an issue most of the time. I had a lot of trouble getting used to it and it even felt harder than Michigun at some point. Once you figure out which click pattern works best for you, it becomes significantly easier. Dont expect to get past it all the time though, this is still a challenging part and you cant underestimate it.
Everything between anthrax and abstractdark is decently challenging but not that bad in comparison to everything before (and everything after). The only spots that killed me were the UFO spam in ZenthicAlpha (only after the gravity switch, it gets pretty awkward there) and ViPriNs green orb at 41%. The triple spike in ViPriNs part was absurdly inconsistent for me at first, which is why I spent a long time trying to understand how it worked. Not an issue at all after I figured it out (enter the cube portal with only one wave click and hold from there, then hit the pink orb as late as possible).
The second half really begins with abstractdark (nasgubb being very easy), and holy hell this part is hard. The first jump is very precise and rather unintuitive. After that, you can die to the yellow orb at 59 and basically everything else if you dont pay attention. The last ship in that part is also quite challenging with nerves.
Etzer is not learny whatsoever. All the difficulty comes from the purely skill-based gameplay. I died there 5 times, nerves definitely make this part a lot harder although it is still definitely easier than abstractdark.
Speeds part is incredibly difficult to learn, but after learning, its... an incredibly difficult part :( There are so many places you can die at. Pretty surprised that I only died there twice, honestly. Despite being so hard, this is one of if not the best part of the level gameplay-wise, it flows marvelously well.
Serponges part is carried by the first jump in terms of difficulty. After that, it isnt very challenging. I still practiced it a lot to make sure I wouldnt die after the first jump because all the timings require some know-how.
G4lvatrons part is usually not hard but the fact that its so late into the level makes up for that. As a result, its scarily easy to die there from 0.
The level ends with Terrons part, which I dont have much to say about. You can definitely die at the mini wave, the green orb right after it and 96% so Id recommend practicing this part a LOT more than youd think to make sure you dont fail there.
Overall, this is one of the best extremes Ive ever played. Almost every single part gets consistent, even the very hard ones. In terms of difficulty, this surprisingly didnt feel much harder than Bloodbath although it felt miles harder than SubSonic. Theres a good reason for this though: my skillset is essentially perfect for this level but it is absolutely horrible for Bloodbath. Lastly, Im pretty happy to be the second mobile victor of this even if its on 144hz. Good luck to Mike and Slinky who both have fantastic progress on this (and good luck to any other mobile player who is going for this)!
